the vESPS board had their final award meeting and has determined the winners! The decision was made based on results of the public voting, the authors with the most points in each category will get an awards.

We have 3 Lecture Awards and 4 Poster Awards, and of course 3 prestigious awards! All i can say is, that the winners come from Italy, France, Austria, The Netherlands and USA ...

From today on poster files (PowerPoint- or PDF-Files) are put online on the website as soon as we get them by the presenting authors.

In addition the book of abstracts containing all abstracts (with general index and author index) is available for download.

All presenting authors of oral lectures and poster presentations are requested to be available for discussion on their contribution in the discussion sessions on Wednesday afternoon. Every slot lasts 30 minutes and is intended for up to 6 contributions. To find out in which slot / at which time we have scheduled your contribution please take a look at the overview of discussions. The session is moderated by a chairperson, being accompanied by a technical support staff - and by an unknown number of participants with questions ...

Today we published all Orals Presentations and Flash Talks on our website. To access these videos you must login with the same email address you used for registration as conference participant. A special link will be sent to this address by email, open this link in your browser and below the image of the presenting author you now should see the link to the presentation video, as well as a link to vote for this contribution.

We also published the abstracts of the contributions. This documents are available to all website visitors.

You may have already read that we will give away 3 lectures awards and 3 posters awards, kindly supported by our sponsors. The jury is buildt by the invited lectures - and by YOU.

Every conference participant can award points to those contributions he/she finds the best - 5 points to the best, 4 points to the second best, 3 points to the third, 2 points to the fourth and at least 1 point to the fifth best oral contribution - and similar 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point to poster presentation as well. So in total you have 10 votes!

The only thing is: you are not allowed to vote for a contribution, where any of the authors is from the same institution as you belong to!

We currently count more than 300 participants (Update on June 2: 400 participants!) taking part in the conference from all over the world. Besides the 46 live talks (plenary lectures, invited lectures and lectures by board members) we will have 67 oral presentations and 80 poster presentations with flash talk!

We are glad to announce that (due to the higher than expected interest in the conference - we have nearly 200 contributions!) we offer all participants the reduced early bird registration fee.

We have arranged private Zoom-rooms for the recording of your talks (flash talk, oral, ..). All presenting authors are requested to record their talk until May 15 (or May 24), since their talks will be available already 2 weeks before the conference. Information about how to record your talk can be found here.

• Abstract Submission has been extended to 26^th of April!!!!!
• The early bird deadline has been extended until 10^th of May.
• We have added a special session for oral presentations from industry. You are highly welcome to submit your abstract.
• We know the issues with time differences from countries outside Europe. Therefore we have added the option that you can stream the presentations up to 3 month after the conference.
